President Bush wishes you a happy easter

The British The Guardian broadcasted yesterday a video of president Bush hugging a easter bunny and celebrating all the beauty of the holiday among dozens of happy little children, euphoric about searching easter eggs around the White House's gardens, in all of their americaness.

Meanwhile, The Truthdig (see the 'british x truth about america' falacy here?) announces the new round number of American soldier's deaths in Iraq by the past five years of war. They're men and women serving... a cause? Justice? The sovereign will of the world's population seeking for peace and dignity? Were they even serving their country? Well...

"Dick Cheney, who long ago told us that the insurgency was 'in the last throes, if you will,' was asked last week about polls showing that two-thirds of Americans don’t think the fight in Iraq is worth it. Cheney’s response: 'So?'"

"So what? The Easter Bunny loves me!" - might have said Bush to himself that day.
